Lefteris Moumtzis: Biography

Lefteris is a musician composer and producer from Cyprus. He studied music in Birmingham Conservatoire and Berklee College of Music. He has released three albums with his solo project J.Kriste, Master of Disguise and one album with the project Stelafi for which he composed most of the music. He is also a member of the bands The Low Spark and Plain History. Lefteris is mainly a bass player. His playing and sound draw influences from James Jamerson, Larry Graham, Paul McCartney, as well as Chris Wood and Alan Gorrie. He is mainly into rock, soul, funk and groove music. He is also a proficient piano player having  earned his classical piano degree at an early age, as well as a guitar player. He likes experimenting with different electric pianos and synthesizers.
